The sporty RZR 800 is powered by a fuel injected, liquid cooled, 760cc twin cylinder 4-stroke engine. Polaris used a Dual Range, Automatic (PVT) Polaris Variable Transmission with switch-engaged On-Demand 4WD to power the wheels.
With demand so high for the RZR 800, Polaris added a more aggressive model - the Polaris RZR "S". The S model is wider, faster and has higher ground clearance which allows it to go more places faster than the standard RZR 800.
In 2010 Polaris added the RZR 4 to its line-up, which features a second row of seats for up to 4 people.
