Did You Know?
Polaris needed an answer to the ever popular Kawasaki Mule and they found in with the Ranger 6x6 in the 1990’s. But, even though the 6x6 Ranger was capable of hauling and towing more weight that its Kawasaki counterpart, it never received the same popularity.
So in 2000 Polaris went back to the drawing board to create a 4 wheeled version of the Ranger. This proved to be the missing link and the Ranger has been popular ever since.
The Polaris Ranger has been offered in a few variations since it was introduced. With engines ranging from 500cc to 900cc there's a Ranger to suit almost every task and rider.
